Cushion WorksThrough a labour intensive process of de-construction and re-construction, everyday items are combined with fabrics to form soft sculptures that resemble decorative cushions. Traditional craft techniques, such as patchwork and embroidery , are utilised to creat the work. However decoratve and soft, the works are tinged with humour and sexual innuendo. Overall the work is intended to be both playful and provocative.
